Customer interviews

The goal of interviewing companies is to get a better sense of our audience and what their needs are. It won't necessarily give a sense of features, but rather guidance on how to simplify the service.

Potential companies were interviewed to discuss potential ideas and thoughts on the event. These were shared with the group before creating customer profiles.

Ideas that came out of direct phone conversations with companies that would potentially participate:

  • Check inserts won't be a great way to spread the word.
  • Corporate cafeterias are run by outside vendors, so it will be difficult to influence those groups
  • Getting buy-in from corporate sponsors would be difficult in a short time frame.

The Corporate Pitch

Here is a list of itmes that would be pitched to potential companies interested in participating in the event.

  • At ZURB right now – 24 hour project – go online at www.zurbwired.com
  • National Hunger Awareness Week
  • Tackle Hunger Pass on Lunch Campaign
  • Event is June 8th
  • Encourage them to get employees to skip lunch and participate
  • Would you be willing to put posters up? Recruit team leader? Place table tents in cafeteria? Pass out stickers? Put on website? Email staff with announcement?
  • If interested there is an opportunity for you to sponsor the event. Only sponsorship level is $10,000. Sponsors get logos
  • Participating company (name list only) = agree to promote event to their employees!
