Competitive review

A comparative look at the other events happening around the same time. We look at the apparent target age group, corporate personality, upside and downside of each competing event for clues on how to differentiate the June 8th event.

As we already mentioned, June 6 is primary election in CA and the Day off the Beast. No initiatives relate to food. 1) reading and literacy 2) preschool education

Recommendations:

Finding a High Profile Organization or Company to partner with and create an event around whatever the activities of the day are going to be: ie SF Food Bank, Project Open Hand in Civic Center Plaza

Get local reps/politicians to skip lunch. Possible tie in with election day 2 days prior.
