As an artist a great deal of inspiration comes from my daily life. My work reflects the love of the outdoors and life as a visual freelance designer. Travel, photography, design, and hanging with my dog are all major influences on my work. I graduated from Stanford University in 1997 with a degree in Product Design and continue to teach classes in the Stanford Design Department. The past few years I have been freelancing with work experience that includes toy invention, illustration, video production, print design, and web site development. Other interests include my photography site ZURBphotos.com and writing ZURBwords.com The computer plays a central role in my work, but it is not the inspiration behind the pieces. Convergence of the computer, camera, and color enable me to capture a feeling or experience that is unique. The future will bring many exciting experiments. -Bryan Zmijewski
