Shhhhh. Robert Konves is ZURB's quietest powerhouse, focused on illustration, flash user interface and web design. But don't let his calm exterior fool you…inside, this tiger has a passion for design that borders on obsessive.

What's your name?
My name is Robert Konves. But you already knew that.

Oh, right, right. It's there in the intro text. Is it true you went to school with Harry Potter?
Uh, no. I majored in digital imaging at Cogswell Polytechnical College. It may sound like a place that would have sorcerers and such, but I'm pretty sure it didn't.

Cool. While we're on the subject of celebrities, care to name drop?
Sure. I've had the chance to design for quite a few name-brand companies, like Mitsubishi, Ricoh USA and PCI Express. I also have some experience in the hospitality industry—the Resort at Squaw Creek is one site I had a lot of influence on.

Anything else you'd like to share?
I'm an honorary Texan who can shoot a rat off a dumpster from 30 yards. The oddest songs on my iPod are "I'm Destructive" and "Don't Call Me Whitney, Bobby". I own seventy pairs of shoes.
