March's latest:

Organizing my digital photos- Currently I have my images organized in folders on a firewire hard drive. This has served me well, but now I have the need to make my collection more useful and easier to access.

Originally, I looked into ACDsee and Adobe Album to see if either of these offered a solution that met my needs. I am somewhat cold on ACDsee, just because it is a bit complex and has more than I need. Adobe Album is less complex, but also has features that I am not necessarily looking for.

New products that I am exploring:
Extensis Portfolio 6
Fotostation 4.5
HindSight StockView
Filemaker Pro (creating a custom solution)

MICHAELSAVAGE.COM- Read Michael Savage's book Savage Nation. Interesting read, though a bit rambling. Thoughts on this later.

Wedding Planning...I wonder just how big is the wedding industry? This just amazes me.

War coverage- It seems like football commentary. It is a very weird feeling while watching the TV. Like the "Shock and Awe" war, the media has its own version. Looking at the the journalists in the tanks and on the move, the US has really used the media as a realtime weapon.

Writing a book review. I remember doing these in elementary school, but it has been so long that it is just a faint memory. I am looking at doing a few just to flex my brain.

Creating a wireless home network server. Just at the beginning of this one...

Jacob, oh how do you do it? Quite interesting how he has cut himself a nice peice of the "usability expert group" pie by carefully crafting a PR strategy that has utilized the web extensively. I am interested how this phenomenon happened, and what are main ingredients of his success.

Newsletters...since beginning mine, I have been researching what makes a newsletter good. A few useful links:

Taxes. Enough said on this one. I am using Taxcut (a product from H&R Block) this year to do my own taxes. I used H&R Block last year. We will see how it goes. If you have a decent tax account please fee free to send me the contact info...
