February 2003:
I am amazed at the level of photography that seems to find its way to the web.
Recently posted photos
prove my point. How does a photographer sell services in a market that has a million
people taking photos? Thoughts on this are circling my head. After a couple of years
of exploring photography online, I realized that there
is a fairly large market to sell imagery. I am looking into seeing what my next steps
might be...
With the release of the latest version of this website I became interested in what makes
me different- which has got me jazzed about writing a book. Recent books circling
in my head have me thinking about the topics that I might include.
CSS seems to be here for the long run, so I have been learning more about its potential. This site is using
CSS for the links and fonts- but will most likely start using more.
Stanforddesign.org-
I am currently teaching the design sketching class. After reviewing the past year of my logs
through ClickTracks I realized that one
of my top searches was "cone of vison". This at first glance seems to be a rather
obscure search query, but after further investigation I realized that there are not
many high quality sites that offer information of perspective drawing. I think
I will probably explore doing some more things with this in the future.
I am waiting to see what happens with the Cannon D60.
Rumors have suggested that they might create two more similar variations on this camera.
ZURBart.com-
I am looking to expand my understanding of large format printing. The
Epson 9600
has amazing quality for an affordable price. Is my first option is trying to create my own large format prints.
