I am very conscious of the world that is created around me and desire
to shape a piece of it, whether it is
teaching a class or helping
build another web site. I live design.
My goal is to blur the line between my professional life
and personal life. Removing my shell and inviting
judgement creates opportunities that would otherwise not exist. Exposure crumbles
traditional professional barriers enabling new dialogs to occur that are
enriching, satisfying, and optimistic. Creativity thrives and develops with openness.
I am a brand engineer, specifically a visual problem solver, with
five years of successful client work under my belt.
My past full time work experience includes Skyline Products,
a toy invention company which was acquired by IDEO. As the company's
first employee, my initiative helped strengthen marketing, engineering,
and business development. In addition, I was the founder of two companies
focused on the internet and digital media -eXPLICO, Inc. and ZURB.
I graduated from Stanford University in 1997 with a degree in Product Design and continue
to teach classes in the Stanford Design Department.
