Design as Propaganda part 3
The other day a friend was telling me how a product design machinist used dry markers
on his computer screen to explain ideas. One day he accidentally used a permanent marker.
Today it is still there. Certainly there must be a way to remove the marker, but then I
realized it did not matter. The computer is no different than the wrench, drill bits,
or drill press. All those tools have dings and scuffs. What's the point? Wrenches
don't think, nor do computers. They are simply tools.
Your message is not communicated through a design effect, filter, or computer. Expand
your brain, people will follow.
